Summer Hours: Guild & Greyshkul is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 6pm.
The gallery is located on Wooster Street between Grand and Canal streets in Soho. The closest subway stop is Canal Street on the N, R, C, and E trains.
Guild & Greyshkul was founded by Anya Kielar, Sara VanDerBeek, and Johannes VanDerBeek, three young artists, who sought to create a venue in which to engage their peers and the larger community. Guild & Greyshkul was opened in September 2003 at 22 Wooster Street with an exhibition space on the ground floor and studios beneath.
In January 2005, Guild & Greyshkul moved to 28 Wooster Street in order to expand both the exhibition space and the operations of the gallery. Now within its fifth season, Guild & Greyshkul continues to strive towards an exhibition program that is rigorous and diverse yet representative of the community from which it began.
